Hibarino Dahlia Park is a beautiful flower garden located in Aomori Prefecture near Gonohe, about 45 minutes southwest of Misawa . Although the park is small, it contains over 1,500 plants and 160 different types of dahlias and is open daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Entry fee is a mere ¥300 per person for unlimited access to the dahlia garden to wander among stunning visions of color. The people tending the garden are very welcoming and willing to answer questions. If you want to take a bit of the garden home, you can buy various combinations and sizes of dahlias to brighten your day. Melissa bought a beautiful bouquet of dahlias for only ¥300. This Lilliputian park contains immense beauty that I could not begin to describe with words, so I will let pictures tell the story of this dahlia heaven!
