A new haiku…just because!
A poem in honor of my little brother, Brian.
On a recent trip back to Kansas to attend my beautiful niece’s graduation from Emporia State University, I spotted a billboard for The Evel Knievel Museum located in Topeka, Kansas…of course I had to stop and check it out!
Rocking with the all girl group The Runaways, Joan Jett paved the way for women in rock music!
Many memories of my childhood include Norman and his two sons, Kenny and Dennis. They were more than friends, they were family. They are family.

I was thinking about my mother and how I ached to hug her. She passed away unexpectedly in March of 2007. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about her. I want to write about her, but it is difficult and, quite frankly, I can’t find the words.

The snow here in Misawa is finally gone and baseball fever struck last week. The only prescription was Japanese Baseball!
