I captured this beautiful moment between mother and daughter for my friends the Gerber family. And they kindly gave me permission to use this photo for the poem that they inspired.

Sitting behind my friend Christi and her family at church allowed me to witness this act of pure love. I sent her this picture and she gave me permission to post her family moment.
