Visitation

Sifting through old photos

reflecting on the past,

I found you again.

From beyond the pages,

you smiled back

as I traced the outline

of your face

and wiped the tears

from mine.

Vessars 1972 — The Vessar’s celebrating my birthday in December 1972. The film was developed in January 1973. Remember when you had to wait to see your pictures?!
