On September 1 of this year, we lost a music legend: Jimmy Buffett. The original Parrot-head was the master of encouraging listeners to grow old but not up. To not be so serious or get caught up in the hustle and bustle of society. To breathe in, breathe out, and move on. To have a cheeseburger and a margarita. And come Monday, everything will be alright. In the pirate’s honor, I humbly give you my top ten Buffett songs.

Rest in peace Jimmy.

  1. Pirate Looks at 40
  2. Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On
  3. Come Monday
  4. Son of a Son of a Sailor
  5. Cheeseburger in Paradise
  6. Back to the Island
  7. Margaritaville
  8. Sea of Heartbreak (w/ George Strait)
  9. Volcano
  10. Growing Older But Not Up

One response to “Jimmy Buffett: A Top Ten Remembrance”

  1. I was so sad to hear that he passed. I have been listening to his music all week. Thanks for sharing the video. I loved watching it this morning. Another favorite of his songs for me was Changes in Attitude. I think I loved them all and saw him in concert a few times.
