If you are looking for some new rock music, look no further than the rock band Shadowsin. The band hails from Kansas City and is making people stand up and notice! The lead singer of Shadowsin is Laura Roach and she brings pure energy to the mix and was awarded the OnlineOne Midwest Music Awards Female Vocalist of the Year in 2016.  I first met Laura when she was a student in my English class! Even then she was writing poetry, stories, and song lyrics. A few years back while living in Las Vegas, we had the opportunity to meet and catch up. She also sent me an autographed Shadowsin picture for my classroom to send a message to all my students that you can achieve your dreams. And that girls can rock too! She had a rock-n-roll dream and she went for it…and succeeded. As her former teacher, I am very proud of her… and I enjoy all Shadowsin music!
