Meat Loaf. Paradise By the Dashboard Light!
I’m about to serve up a deliciously delectable dining plate size of Meat Loaf for your quarantine culinary pleasure! Pleasure for your ears and soul I should confess. With time on my hands these past couple of months, I have had the insane pleasure of re-visiting a lot of my music favorites and indulging my musical fancies to my heart’s content.
I also have to confess that re-visiting Meat Loaf came about due to a friend, Gary Fitzpatrick, listing the gregarious Mr. Meat Loaf as a rock vocalist that had a voice that was unparalleled and matched by only a few. I have to agree with Gary. Meat Loaf and those raucous pipes could send shivers down my spine and cause the hairs on the back of my neck to come to attention! I mean, Loaf could really belt it out! And we can’t forget Jim Steinman as the provider of words for Meat Loaf to vocalize. The duo of Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman gave us the debut album Meat Loaf: Bat Out of Hell, which actually consists of the first seven songs I put in my top ten. It is a stellar album.
So, if you haven’t listened to Meat Loaf in awhile or you’v never tasted this rock-n-roll treat before, head on over to your favorite platform for finding and listening to music and serve yourself up a good helping of some Meat Loaf.

I loved Meat Loaf. I think he was definitely under appreciated. His songs had so much meaning.

He was iconic! And a great top 10. But my brother was the real fan!
