Time Moves On

Flitter away the moments
that make up a dull day,
true words Roger & David
no more to say.

Time moves on and 
is a cruel mistress,
beating me down until
I finally acquiesce.

Laziness & complacency
fill up my mind and
at the end of each day,
I wish to rewind.
